Woa, long time no post here. I really have nothing new to display here anymore since everything I make gets used for vote incentives, and I haven't been able to work faster to make extra stuff that's not a reuse of the incentives. And those sketches are due to be uploaded to the main site at some point anyway, so this blog has really lost its purpose. :/

I'll paste another reuse for now and think about what to display here in the future. D:

Some recent sketches I've used as incentive until... just last week I believe:



Creating motion makes me want to /headdesk
Attempting foreshortening makes me want to /facepalm
However, I am happier with what I'm doing now compared to my previous attempts. I don't think I'll ever be happy with what I do (in a sense, I don't know if I ever want to be... but let's still try to get the basics right =_=; )
Drawing animals... eh, I'm not even gonna start on that. I do keep going back to drawing pics of characters with an animal(?) buddy though, I wonder why.

PF3 is in its final chapter right now. I've been keeping up with what's going on, but I failed to contribute anything last chapter due to Persona 4 distraction. OwO;;; I made this very quickly today though:



Someone is putting together a Persona parody poster to support the country of Gigandal, so artists were asked to make parody shots of their character(s) like that. xD Persona parody was just too awesome to pass up; plus it was very simple.

I didn't come up with any April Fool's prank to put on my site. Maybe next year. But I did sketch a chibi comic for the occasion:

The extra didn't exist at first, but the first part by itself didn't feel like a nice bday comic for Elthee. xD; It was going to be either this or a more prettified sketch of Beyll hugging Elthee (which is inconceivable, but... it's his bday... and it's April Fool's xD), but I slacked and picked the chibi route. :P Let's hope I can come up with something more clever and refined next year. Last year was a creepy oekaki, so I think this is still a step up? And maybe do an April Fool's prank too, some sites are pulling some really clever ones this year.

Something I started while trying to think of the cover for Chapter 2, but it didn't seem fitting... so I might use this for Chapter 3 instead. 8D; We'll see.

I don't know if you can see through that paper, but the page after that is the sketch for the current vote incentive: the sexy(?) Valentine version Eynord. Vote on the manga site to go see and get creeped out. xD

I think I'll take a break from working on that CG from the previous entry... I kept working on it everyday and made little progress, but it eventually got to the point that it was making me cry at least once a day (which sounds very silly... O____O;;; Note to self, don't do CG experiments right around emo week). I'll work on commissions, and maybe finally make buffer pages.

Sadly, I couldn't be very creative with the Magitek Armor and ended up posing it the same as the ref pic I used. But as I'm not any skilled mecha illustrator and the ref pic itself was hard to decipher, it ended up looking like something else. =_=; Maybe I can fix it up when I color it... if I do color it... *swts*

For those who have expressed interest in coloring this in the last entry, if you're still interested, go ahead. Just remember to give me credit for the original sketch. And sorry about that spine blur, you can just crop it off or something. =_=;

Big empty space towards the bottom should be filled with Magitek Armor, if I could find a good ref!! Dx I found one that should work if I can stand staring at it for long periods of time. My eyes are still exhausted, things look more blurry than they normally should.

...I kinda wanna work on this more than work on my manga page that's supposed to be up sometime today... *SWTS*

I've also been listening to the music on the Japanese official Dissidia website repeatedly. It's been helping me stay in a good mood. It's also been making me itch to play more Dissidia, or possibly pick up the original FF6 game. Despite my current FF6 obsession that struck me out of nowhere, I've never finished that game...

I don't know if you could tell from that snapshot up there, but there are two dates on it. That is how much sketching I got done in two days (see, I'm not kidding when I always say I'm slow). Even though the pace is probably slower than ever, I guess this new approach to daily sketching is helping me pay more attention to details, give me more time (at least more than 24 hours) to stock up on ideas, and be more at ease in general; I don't have to freak out over having to finish a sketch in a day anymore (I'm sure I never had to freak out about it in the first place, but I guess it's kinda like how I used to deal with schoolwork. I know that I won't get this anywhere and it'll just be a waste of my time if I don't take it seriously.)

Sooooo.... I was really supposed to have a page ready today, but the wildlife emergency and the check-up that followed really drained me, I really couldn't make myself do it. I've been really exhausted this entire week too, getting extremely sleepy earlier than I normally would. I wonder why...

So there was no new page. And I watched the new Code Geass (so much LOL oh god I love that series <3 ). But I didn't really want to go sleep yet, and I didn't feel like going on RO, and I felt kinda bad not doing anything about the page but didn't really want to make myself face that paper again.



So I played around with colors. :D
I have so many characters with undecided colors, it's about time I did something about them. The poor things.

There are several points I still don't like about this, but I still like this a little more than out of all the other sketches that I hate.

One of the reasons I like this might only be because of the song I listened to while sketching it though. I love this song so much... it has helped me get over so many things lately.

Sorry for the late page guys. I just finished sketching it last night. :( And a friend will mostly likely come over from Wed-Fri, so if I don't finish it today, I might have to push it back till this coming Sunday... Dx

Because I am currently very frustrated with a variety of things. And the PC going insane beyond my power to help it last night is nudging me towards the edge even more. At least I left it in good hands this morning... but I don't want to explode again. I just exploded a few days ago, and it lasted a good 3 days. :(

I'm still considering fixing Naire's hair... because it looks so similar to Riedre's style. =/ Then again, their personalities are way different, it's not like they'll clash too much (characters with similar personalities AND appearance, now that I should worry about more... >_>).

Well. For one thing. I've avoided drawing girly things for a long while, so I didn't know where to start with that dress. =_= I ended up googling pictures of lolita dresses. And....... as I started looking at them......... uh........ I started liking them fejw9dsio#%()*Sjfwioe!!!! And it even got to the point where I seriously contemplated getting one and maybe even wearing it to AX since I have nothing to cosplay OTL!!!!!!!!


........hey, I was tired. It was the day I finished my last final after all. (Seriously though, I really went nuts during finals this semester... it's rather amusing reflecting back on it now xD;;; ) Correction. It was drawn the night before I took my last final. See what I mean? I was totally out of whack, and it appears I still am. xD;
